Fair Hills Farm

Fair Hills Farm is a small farm in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains in northeastern Alabama.  We raise heritage breed chickens,  enjoy their eggs, (and offer them for sale locally), train rescued horses to be good companions and therapy animals, and are expanding our rabbitry for the purposes of fiber production.  We have 22 acres of hardwood and pine trees,  fields and a small lake which is stocked with bass and bream. We enjoy grinding our wheat for fresh bread, grinding our organic coffee beans to make the best coffee in the county, and hosting friends and family in our guest house.   There is an abundance of wildlife, wildflowers and wild-crafted herbs on our property.  There are walking trails and quiet places that are so good for exercising and meditating and quiet reflection.  There is always something to do and something that needs to be done!

The purpose of this website is to provide information, share helpful products,  publish book and article reviews and promote sustainable farming and animal husbandry.  It is our desire, here at Fair Hills Farm, to encourage and promote healthful living and good stewardship of the land.

Psalm 121: 1-2 says, “I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence comes my help.  My help cometh from the LORD, which made heaven and earth.”
