(Background on me: I frequent you and daughter's blogs and have commented on one or two of your election posts from a diff username/email address: Bruinbelle and pixiedanzer@yahoo)

I love how the Holy Spirit sovereignly leads me through the most seemingly insignificant activity. I came across your blog after doing a google search on "Sarah Palin" Deborah/Esther or "Sarah Palin" Biblical womanhood --> after McCain's announcement reinvigorated my interest in last year's election. I was so blessed by the balanced, Christian perspective you provided on current events: Christ-centered and heavenly minded, yet not apathetic, isolated, or defeatist about the temporal affairs of this world either.

Congratulations on the pregnancy :) and though I don't always comment, just wanted to say I appreciate your entries and the godly perspective you bring to FOOD, HEALTH, and a whole slew of other things I've taken for granted and didn't think Biblical teaching could apply to.

I've been blessed by reading the blogs of Christian homeschooling families/homestead farms in general!

The LORD has placed me in a suburb 10 minutes outside of the polluted, congested city of Los Angeles. Oldest of three, I've grown up in a non-Christian home, attended secularized Catholic schools, and just graduated from UCLA. My home church is located in the thick of the inner city.

I'm sure most of the foods I've eaten have been processed, modified, or treated chemically in some way. LoL. The funny thing is, Los Angeles leads in all the latest health/organic food trends, but they stem from a pagan-hippie-celebrity mentality that idolizes nature over our Creator.

I think all those things have something to do with why I appreciate the fresh outlook brothers and sisters in Christ living in very different circumstances, bring to matters related to faith, life, and the home.

Please pray that the LORD will help me apply such wisdom to life in the city! :)

May the Grace and Peace of CHRIST be with you!
